I’m passionate about helping you restore your body and mind to wellness.

I became a Health and Wellness Coach because I’m passionate about helping others restore their body and mind to wellness. I have spent my life nurturing my physical and mental health through self-care and learning how we, as human beings, flourish. Let’s meet and accomplish the same for you.

Growing up in a healthy home, I ate whole, unprocessed foods and devoted myself to various types of exercise, including long hours on the tennis court and running along the beach. At Stanford University, I satisfied my fascination with health by studying exercise physiology, nutrition, and psychology. I deepened my understanding of the body and mind, and earned a B.A. degree in Human Biology. I also discovered my creative energy and channeled it into architecture, obtaining a Master of Architecture degree from UCLA and eventually working as an architect and project manager for 18 years.

While in graduate school, I found that my regular runs weren’t enough to shake the feelings of overwhelm I was experiencing, so I began a personal yoga practice. Yoga allowed me to access my inner calm, a reservoir of resilience to dissipate daily pressures. This quickly evolved into a lifelong exploration of yoga, and I became a certified yoga instructor through the YogaWorks 200 Hour Teacher Training program.

As I worked on designing houses over the years, I witnessed others in the office dragging through the day, often getting sick, and wishing they had more time to relax. I began encouraging my coworkers to take a walk with me at lunch, and I saw them find a new energy in their day. I found that an intention to spread wellness brought equanimity to myself and those around me.

Yearning for a return to focusing completely on health, I seized the opportunity to be a full time Health Coach. Having seen people struggle with their health over the years, I was confident I could help others develop their own unique paths to health and happiness. Listening to your stories and being your guide to a lifestyle of wellness is my deepest passion.

Today, I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and a certified Health and Well-being Coach through Wellcoaches, a science-based coaching program in partnership with the American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. I am devoted to supporting my clients as they take control of their lives and find ways to feel better and more healthy than ever before.
